We enjoy an occasion hat most of all. Making a hat to suit a wedding outfit or a day at the races is the best work there is.

We work by hand. Blocking the felt or straw on the form, shaping the brim, trimming and finishing, step by step, by eye. It is careful, absorbing work, and that is where the difference from a mass-made hat lies.
